Hello! I’m Deanne, the owner of this fine establishment. I opened up this salon in May of 2007! I was a dog trainer for 3 years, and a vet tech for 9 years prior to opening! I’ve always had a knack for animals of all kinds, been drawn to them for a very long time. I currently have 4 pups, Malibu, Gibbs, Doug, and Jill, though we normally call Jill “Jilly-Bean” 🙂 You might notice Jilly, the little brown Frenchie, taking naps and working hard in our shop most days. Sometimes Doug comes in too, he’s a white Frenchie and paralyzed in his back legs! He has a wheelchair at home to zip around all over the place! Every groomer working here currently has trained under me in some form or another for years, so you know they all have great technique when it comes to grooming! I love coming in each day, and the variety of personalities sure does keep it a different challenge every day!

Ashley:
Hi! I’m Ashley. I’ve been working here at Wags N Whiskers for about 9 years. I absolutely love this job, and seeing all the different breeds of cats and dogs come in. I especially love it when I get to see one of my besties come in every two weeks, Coco! Also love seeing any time a big orange cat comes in! Other breeds I’ve come to love while working here are poms, doxis, hounds and rotties! I ended up adopting a rottie a while back and it was one of the best decisions of my life. He was the most perfect angel. And don’t get me wrong, I love so many more dog breeds, it’s just too much to list. 🙂 Love cats also, got 2 of my own! Their names are Jack and Kabanna!
My mom told me when I was a little kid, dogs absolutely terrified me but here I am almost 10 years later, doing exactly what I want, surrounded by furballs! I’m so thankful I got over my fear, I couldn’t dream of a place where I wasn’t working with animals <3
